First of all I use it when i don`t know some words, or i forget them. Sometimes i watch  TV series and for example message in telephone doesn`t translate and i neet to translate it but don`t know this languege at all.

I'm not gonna lie when i forst use google translate , it was horrible tool to translate nouns, it would give back the most rediculous translation. However the amount it has improved over the year is incredible . You can also translate the whole sentence at once which is the best update from them.  I primarily used translation in spanish , its really awesome. This has major impact on buisness leads and personal lives. Now i like it very much . A great thing google has discovered.

That is a long process to a lazy me. Rather, I use Chrome extensions in translating webpages in other languages to English. It works as perfect as Google translator and it is fast once it recognise a different language from English.

 

PS: Beware of the type of extension you use for. Some are malicious.

I don't think there is another app in the market that offers alot of features and tools that google translater givea. It is a great invention of this age for office,study and home works. You can scan an image and convert them Into any lnguage of this age with little experience.

Google translate is great and there is no doubt about it as you said you can copy a phrase and it will be translated to any language you want but you have to know that its translation is not totally right and its has some misspellings.
