I don't think bitcoin can collapse easily, it's not game and big firms are investing bitcoin constantly but you're right about the governments. Many governments wants to regulate crypto, some people said it's bad for the crypto and some people said it'll be better. I don't know for sure but those regulation can increase the usage of crypto.

Well,  I do think that btc would survive despite the manipulation that the government are trying to impose on it,  what might probably happen to it is just that it might be sideline to some back up currencies rather than been the major sources of transaction.
