I don't think this will be possible. Bitcoin still remain the father to all cryptos.  With Eth currently trading at $347, the Gap is much. But nothing is impossible, there is still hope for Eth.

If overtaking means one day ETH equal or more than price bitcoin, I doubt that will ever happen. Will be excited to some study about it too and present fact on why I think that's rather impossible.

Since BTC mining and ETH mining are a very different process, the cost difference is too much, so it seems difficult for the price of ETH to rise that much, at least for now because ETH miners can only pay their electricity bills with the ETH they mine and they have less ETH compared to BTC when the price rises. When miners see what they are holding and also a rise in those who buy and sell in the stock market, they begin to extract their ETH and the price starts to fall again.

I've read some complain regarding the gas fee of ETH as it is costly, I think because of that the demand on ETH will go down since demand and supply contribute hugely on the price of crypto then I would also assume that its price will be affected. So I think it will be hard for ETH to overtake BTC, but I know there will be ETH 2.0 I hope they could lower the transaction fee and add some beneficial features.

I don't think bitcoin will be replaced by ethereum or any other cryptocurrency in a moderate space of time. Its capitalization volume,the increased popularity and support of the bitcoin cryptocurrency makes its position much more stable, its blockchain much more reliable, hack-proof and other intrusive attempts at attacks. I see it more as a safe reserve of value, of investors fleeing from running money. In any case other blockchains present interesting projects and drag a lot of people interested in them, and who does not say that in a time seen ten or twenty years any of these projects are solid enough to equate or go over the current hegemony of bitcoin

Definitely not. The capitalization is far too big and in general everybody has heard of bitcoin. But eth? It's not that popular and I don't see any advantages in it except for not that big commissions.

Cryptocurrency is unpredictable and we dont what will happen in future. But ethereum never take the position of bitcoin. Bitcoin is the ruler of cryptocurrency, and its price mostly rises day by day. If you analyze the price graph of btc and ethereum then we easily check it. Bitcoin is  top crypto coin and ethereum is second largest crypto coin. In future, Bitcoin retain his position because its histroy about price increasing was very interesting thats why bitcoin has huge demand instead of ethereum. I do not think so. It is true that ETH is functional, but to beat BTC I do not believe it at all. We would be talking in terms of a price increase of a very high%, and only without counting that BTC is the one who in one way or another continues to govern the price increase of the other cryptos. Apart from that, I do believe that the price of ETH will become very high, this entire year has shown to rise much more in% than many others.
