Message content are rarely discussed in our forums, and as long as I am a member of Cryptotalk I have never received messages from other members or sent messages to other members. If we send a message can be considered as a spammer like in an email. What do you think?

As a developer, i know message can be detect as spam if you send some spamming or malicious material. Becayse we have option to block or detect spam words which can be easily detected. So if you are composing a message then make sure you are sending a white list message and if a domain or url include in your message then be sure it not detected as spam on other websites so that we can prevent from detecting as scam. This is the procedure i know most as crypto talk is the good forum then it may have stronger security.

Using the message inbox is not a spam as long as you will not send or receive web links and referrals, It may consider one if you dont know the sender or receiver!  You will use that portion if you want to talk to other members here privately!

No one sent you a message because they have nothing to say to you in private!

Me too, I have never received/sent a message to anyone.

I think private messages can be an easy way for scammers to catch their victims (who are mostly newbies to crypto) but I don't think it's considered a spam provided that you don't send a malicious content

It will be okay if you use the message content. As long as you follow the rules. You will be mark as spam i think if you are really spamming and sending inappropriate messages.

I wonder if the message box is personal because private messages should not be monitored unless someone receives a message suspicious, if not between the members a message of sympathy is free.

No you would not.My friend messaged to someone else it was working like a charm! So if you want to message to someone then you can do it without worrying

Well, you can't expect a member to message for no reason and vice versa. This place is known to be a forum not a social media.

If I receive private message containing referral link, I will definitely consider spam.

This can only be sent at the request of the recipient.

I love meeting people from different countries and cultures. If you send me a message I would love to meet you. I am also a person who loves to argue. You can send messages on any subject.

i think message is design to privately communicate with other members if the you know them personally,

just don't use it to scattered links of any form.
