Of course, investing and doing trade with a currency aspect are two different things. Investing is long-term to obtain profit, as opposed to trading. I personally prefer to make long-term investments.

I have also noticed that it is more likely to gain huge profit if you chose the long-term investment, like for example in BTC, I think the highest peak of its price was way back 2017 which reached the 19K USD then after a 3 years it might reach that peak also since this year the price of it reach the 18K USD, 1K USD to go to reach again the 19K. See it took 3 years for the price of the BTC to reach again the highest price so it would be better if we choose the long term investment, thou trading is profitable also but it is much riskier.

I would personally recommend to try both as we don't experience can maybe make you really good at it. Investing involves lot of self money providing which might be uncomfortable for certain people. I think both have its advantages and disadvantages.

However, investment is better than trading, so it is recommended more, provided that the appropriate experience is available that enables you to make a good investment.

This thread is more about which one would be a better choice if you had to choose just one of them, of course dividing your capital into two parts and use one part for trading and the other for investment would work as well and I don't think anyone disagrees with that.

I agree with you that investing in the long term is better than trading in the short term. In fact, the plan that I proposed is a very good plan because the probability of losing it is very weak, but at the same time, the chance of achieving large profits from it is not great, but a bird in hand is better than ten on the tree.

Though short term trading is being said to be profitable if having a great strategy and capital so I think what's best for us beginners is to go for long term investment first because it doesn't require much of strategies and it's the one I will start with once I have enough capital.
