In past time it was considered very dangerous to give bad reputation to any person who is posting a content that is not useful or umimportant But in recent there is no such issue .You can give positive as well as negative reputation.But we should judge  very well about the post before rating it.

In the aspect of giving reputation to a member actually we have to read the post very well and try to understand the information is trying to pass through but some members always fail to understand that and instead of going through the post they will feel like the post is not useful and they will give the writer a bad reputation which is not proper, but at least with the latest update now I think the problem of giving too much bad reputation have been reduced.

Of course friend, it is true that knowing about the person who given the reputation may cause the fear to the members. I think that's why the moderators have been hidden this feature to reduce the violation in this forum. Because, if a person make a useless posts and someone give him bad reputation that he deserves, then the person will also give the bad reputation to the useful post of other person in revenge.

There is absolutely nothing to no fear in this, whenever you write good English you will do creative cloud or share  information with such people, then you will get positive reputations only. We don't have to be afraid of giving bad reputations to low quality posts now on because the administration had make it in such a way that you can no longer see or know the member that gave your posts a negative reactions but we have to give it wisely because the moderators are watching us all, som let us keep fear aside and help the moderators identify low quality posters

Yeah you've said absolutely true. Many members are getting feared for the reputation. I have seen that many helpful and useful posts are getting negetive reputation and on the other hand many useless and meaningless posts are getting positive reputation. So we all should read the posts before giving any reputation. We should always try to write useful posts and shouldn't be feared for the reputation.

I don't know exactly the old system as I recently registered But according to what you wrote, in the old system, people could see who could give reputation points. I think people were afraid to give each other bad credit because it was like that. The current system is much better.

For me it is very good that the option of knowing who gives you a good or bad reaction is hidden, that should be private and negative evaluations should be avoided for revenge, although it is advantageous to know who gives a positive reaction to someone to know how to identify to spammers, but the moderators have that option and they are responsible for taking care of the forum, we should not be afraid of evaluating positively or negatively any member within cryptotalk, it is our right.
