I agree with you. Those are the safest way to hold you assets but i am not using those methods because i don't have that big money. Most of my assets are staying on my exchanger wallet. I know it's not the safest way but i activate 2fa protection and i've pretty strong password, but if i had big moneys i would probably use cold wallet to secure my assets. I am also trading with small amounts, that's the another reason why i use exchanger wallet.

I think large exchanges like binance, bitrex, bitfinex...etc have this type of guarantee, as I can remember bitfinex has refunded their users when the platform was hacked. security is a major issue with digital currencies.

Yeah bro you are posted much informative for the newbies and who don't know about the online wallets it is good for the protection from these kinds of scammers and cyber criminals so to stay away from them we should follow these rules.

The basic rule is that don't share your personal information with anyone don't share your private key or password if you want to be secure and safe.

We are hoping that digital criminals can be caught easily but we cannot do that unless all the platform we use has a KYC system or know your customer system.

All the steps that you have mentioned should be followed. Personally, I am using non-custodial Wallets for storing mid term assest and for short term holding, I keep them in Exchanges as I cab trade and use them easily there. But I use email verification and Google Authenticator for the security so I don't think I need to worry about unless something big happpens to attack my funds.

Also, I do check my Mobile apps about their permission and data usage so I can guarantee any of them aren't making holes in my security.
