Yes we should give time to other members replies too on particular topics. It will help in two ways.

First one is that when we read the topic and then also read the opinion of other members on that same topic we get much more clear idea of the topic and get the main idea easily.

Secondly if we give time to reading comments then it will also help the member of the comment as will as us as we'll get info and they may get some positive reputation depending on the quality of their comment.
