I think there wont be any extra income for the term when our post goes viral. It is only just a good news and nothing else. But the good thing is that our reputation can increase fast and it is really great. There is no other benefit for that. However we can be happy about it because it became viral that it is unique and attracted lots of people.

Well certainly there is no additional rewards or income for the topics that get viral. However, it's a good thing if your post get viral, you will surely achieve a good number of reputations, follower and visitors. Plus your name will be mentioned in the leader board.
