The difference between private key and a public key

I have no idea privet key and public key but I know two key is very important for save account. Your should save two key and hopefully possible to good result.

These two keys are different. It's has different purposes. Public key is use for transaction. We can recieve payment through our public key. And private key is our wallet access key. We have to always secure it. Otherwise we cann't log into our wallet.

My understanding about both the public key and the private key is limited because i usually use coin base wallet and they only provide the public key. public key is used to get payments from anyone. and the private key is used to secure and modify your wallet settings ..

The private key is the most important isn't it? I mean that the private key should not be shared with others because it is responsible for accessing the wallet and the balance in it which may cause the wallet to be stolen. As for the public key, it is temporary and can be modified. Please explain more about this and correct my information.

The public key can be shared on any platform .But the Public key is most important for wallet opening.We can not share this with people.We can see other people balance in MEW(My ether wallet).Other people can also see our balance from our public key.

Private key is the key which you do not sell anybody public key is that with you share with everyone but I would ask you to do not share anybody your private key because now they are increasing which day will misuse of your private key.

From the word itself public keys are widely distributed, while private keys are kept secret. public key use to encrypt a message and private key is use to decrypt,so the person with the private key can decrypt and read it the encrypted messages on a public key.

Yeah there are always two keys. Here it is in the form of address. That public address is used to receive payment and private address is used to unlock your locker to get access to the tokens or coins for transferring or selling.

In any crypto wallet we get two keys. One of key name is public key and another one is private key. Private key is use for access wallet and public key use for transactions.

Yes this information is vital to many who doesn't know , public keys is our wallet address which we give out to people in other to receive cryptocurrencies.

While private keys is the code we use in accessing our wallet which should be kept safe and not disclose to anyone.
