Owing a crypto private keys

yeah we know that private key is like a good way for protect our Crypto Account From scamers and hackers . I used blockchain wallets from longtime and never feels problem likes hacking . I think this is really hard to produce same private key that we have .

There are some wallets like freewallet and coinbase, when I started using cryptocurrencies, I was using them but I stopped few days ago when I noticed they can not provide me my private keys. They are safe but private keys are so important, especially if you want to retrieve you cryptocurrencies  on another wallet.

Free wallet is not recommended at all, but I can still tell you that coinbase is good but it has not private keys given to users which means some stale trades and holder will like to be anonymously and they will not use coinbase.

@BitcryptoHan  Personally, I prefer to use non-custodial wallet for a simple reason, respecting the philosophy of cryptocurrencies. BE YOUR OWN BANK. Anonimity is only a bonus... In my life, when I do something, I don't say it to my neighbors... I like to use some addresses with different wallets, that's why I like to be able to access them.

@bitcoinb Cryptocurrencies  can seem anonymous to newbies buy mot anonymous to those that knows about programing and about bitcoin transactions. It can be tracked, so it is partially anonymous.

@Yomose, you are not wrong, wallet can be tracked with public key or addresses but it can be still anonymous, for example, the 50 btc mined in the Satoshi Nakamoto mining Era was traced but they do not know the owner.

@bitcoinb but not like bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin and any other coins like that which ate not completely anonymous. Even, many address can be traced to a single wallet and much more.

@Yomose  The exact term used for Bitecoin, Litecoin and so on is "pseudo-anonymous". I think in the future they will add more option to protect privacy, as already done by some coins.

Private keys are definitely the most important tool in securing crypto assets in a wallet. Technically, wallets that uses private keys are believe to be more secure than those that do not, as there is no way to break into them without the private keys. Therefore they should be kept very safe and offline too.

@bitcoinb I totally agree with the word pseudoanonymous, this should be what people should refer cryptocurrencies with. And I surely understand that you know a lot about cryptocurrencies.

@Yomose  I am not a "specialist" but I collect cryptocurrencies since March of 2014, I saw BTC price at $200 and I saw thousands of cryptocurrencies born.

Private keys of wallets also refers to passwords and emails that gives us access to our wallets therefore,I believe it's our duty to keep them safe so that we don't lose our crypto.

@George10Private keys are neither passwords nor email, they are keys to access your coins on the blockchain and must be kept safe from scammers.

I believe that every wallet to be secure must have a private key, this is very important and is a point that we must take into consideration when choosing a wallet.  Private keys allow us to protect our cryptocurrencies and access them.

Private keys are importand because if you will lose your private keys-so be sure you will never recover your wallet and thats why be careful my friend.I lost private keys on Atomic wallet and still cant recover it.

Private key is  the most important part in the wallet if you lose it you lose your wallet.

I like to use the type of random keys, it is a good and very safe method, the ideal thing would be to write down the secret words on a sheet of paper and not show it to anyone. Any program that gives you random words is valid. Good post, greetings.

I am an atomic wallet user, with this wallet I have access to my private keys, which is a great advantage, because having this key it is possible for us to recover our cryptos in case of any failure with the wallet that we are using.

The private keys are mainly to access the wallet and if the private keys are stolen then you cant recover it. i think the private keys are not stored in the block chain thats why it cant be recovered.

Yes, these wallets provide your private key to your wallet. I would like to add another wallet that you did not mention in the topic, namely (coinbase)
