Stock Exchange Platform/ Cryptocurrency Exchange Platform.. Interrelated??

Recommended Posts

Hello Cryptotalk enthusiasts;

First, I would like to make it clearer on the simpler terms what a Stock Exchange Market really is;

Quote

A stock exchange is a share marketplace where people meet and gather to buy/sell(trade) shares of company stock.

Actually, companies issued their shares for their development and uplifting of their institution/organization(s), and the issued stock share are usually opened for the public, by allocating a certain percentage share for the employees or the founding members. A stock exchange is a part of capital market ecosystem, and are generally issued by companies to grow/flourish with divided shares and bonds. The standardization of the capital investments through companies stock shares allows people to buy/sell discrete shares of ownership for various companies. The fundamental purpose of raising the capital share investment through stock exchange is to provide capital formation and intermediation to a central marketplace, which in terms helps companies to raise its capital from the investors.

Secondly, Cryptocurrency Exchange Market or a Digital Currency Exchange(DCE) is a platform that allows users to trade(buy/sell) cryptocurrencies for crypto assets like bitcoins, Ethereum or other crypto alt-coins, (apparently) that may also include conventional fiat money.

Quote

A Cryptocurrency Exchange Platform(CEP) or Digital Currency Exchange(DCE) is a system that operates online and is related with buy/sell of cryptocurrencies with other assets.

We all know that, the cryptocurrencies are inherently unstable in terms of price and volatility. Their prices keep changing over time and the price is mostly unstable, with high volatility. Also, the DCE platforms undergoes theft, fraud and other online attacks including DDoS, phishing, social engineering attacks, and so on.

A distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack is a malign attempt to interrupt the normal traffic of a targeted network through detour or diverging the target with a high volume of unauthorized Internet traffic to victimize the platform or with the intention of taking it down.

The forex and Crypto both are work on demand and supply where the forex have higher risk then crypto. The lose of crypto recover after sometime but in forex  account of customer washed away in a minute. But in forex the scamming is very lower then the crypto world,in crypto now a days the new projects are coming out scamming. People who work in forex are very good in crypto as well. They have the basic knowledge of forex and adopt very well stop loss of trades. Many newbies need to differentiate between these two platforms.

@pacific good post, congratsIt is always good to make publications that teach others and not the question of things that can be read here, entering the subject, it is interesting to see the similarity of the two types of markets, although one differs from the other in that the currencies, in Most of them within the traditional stock market are centralized and controlled by governments, on the other hand, in decentralized cryptocurrency exchange platforms these currencies are freely accessible and without a central entity that regulates them, beyond the trust assigned to them by their forks, finance always takes the same path, that is, to obtain profitability, in different ways but with the same purpose, greetings.

Stock market is basically a secondary market for stocks trade and the the way stock market is correalted with economy is the thing thst diverseify it from thr crypto exchanges. Furthermore, the potential risk you are mentioniong will be becuase of the price volatility and theft seems unusal in my view unless you go for a broker that is completely devoted to lure you to invest there and fade away.

Also, now you csn buy stocks in a tokenized form in exchanges like FTX which seems a great revolution in Erc-20 tokens futility.

The two platforms are very similar, especially in that currencies or stocks rise and fall, and we can at any time buy or sell, but the stock exchange closes, but the cryptocurrencies never close ...

The main similarity between stock and cryptocurrency market is both are largely affected by demand and supply and  therefore both can be analysed technical in similar procedures.

Apart from that, there are some huge differences between them. In crypto, currencies are traded and invested on unlike in stock, companies are invested on. Relatively, the cryptocurrency market is much more volatile, reacts faster to conditions compared to stock. Therefore higher risks and also higher chances to make quick profits.

There are some platforms that allow trading but not actually buying the stocks. I don't use the Robinhood or CashApp software as they are only available in USA,Canada and UK, but I am sure you don't buy the stocks there, but make bets, like future markets, and wait for the outcome of the direction the price will take. To hold stocks of a company it is required to have an account  withing a bank that deals with stocks or with an investment and trading company.

You don't actually own the stocks this way, but something that is promised by FTX exchange to sustain the price of that stock. But you will not get paid dividents and will not have rights stock holders have.

We said. Some platform gives marketplace but not provides us these stocks. Robinhood and CashApp are just eligible in special countries but not in all. You don't actually stock these software in all manners.

Both the stock and the crypto exchanges have the same kind of traders that use the same tools. They all use bots too and while there are many similarities, there are a few irregularities. The crypto exchanges are anywhere in the world. We have exchanges that we don't know where they are based, and others that while they are regulated in the USA we still don't know what they are up to, or if there is someone serious that is looking over if what they are doing is legal. We also have Tether that acts like the FED, but run just by a few people that also run the Bitfinex exchange. There is a lot going on there right after the famous Bitfinex hack, and how Tether was created and helped Bitfinex cover this gap. Many irregularities by exchanges like Bitmex, Binance, OKEX and more. While stock exchanges are not quite different, they are still not allowed to do whatever Binance is doing. The new listings, the inside information to traders about upcoming listings, there are so many shady practices that are running and we are on the outside, trying to use technical analysis to predict the price.
