well,  we all face the same situation in cryptotalk,  many scammers are causing problems to people who as technology doing there work  perfectly,  but locking of topics is actually not the solution,  I think that moderators have a way of recognising spammers,  so they can deal with then from there.

I think this is a great suggestion to avoid the scammers and spammers when we will be able to lock or topic then the number of scammers will decrease because when they will try to copy/paste method we will report them and will lock our topic.

I concur with you in this regard. If content creators are given permission to lock their topics, it would be a greater initiative. There are some topics which might be valid for specific time and holds no meaning after that time. So, at this case content creator can close the topic, and avoid the discussions that might not be helpful if the topic is over.

It is really useful idea. We have to take some responsibility  and find spammers and report them. I think we should have some brief control over our topics and posts. The administrators are very smart and they active in the forum every time . We actually need to be tough against the scammers here.

There would be some reason behind which caused to delete your topic, it may be that your topic was not useful or the (admins/moderators) would not get satisfied from it, Iwould suggest you that try to improve your topics with useful contents.

I don’t think that deleting topics is because of the comments on them, but if they are duplicated or not useful, they will be deleted.

As for the copied comments, we are all working hard to report them if we come across them, and the comment will be deleted by moderators and the owner will be warned.

For this the best thing would be that when they try to plagiarize using copy and paste, the publication would tell them that there is already a publication written the same, this would really avoid many plagiarism and when they have the warning they realize that what they are doing can not continue to happen, another way would be that the 3rd warning would give a warning point.

I just read earlier to a posts stating that there is now a lock my topic setting. I hope you can find it. It's in the beginner section I guess. Locking topic is a way for us to have privacy in it which is really a must have.

I don't think the reason your topic is deleted is the amount of random messages by scammers your topic may be repetitive...There are many reasons why you delete your topic, but spam sent by scammers is not one of those reasons .

Maybe after the paybypost campaign ends. Because some people can't be trusted to delete posts in their thread. Even if someone can report abusive post deletions, this will add more work to the moderator...

I believe that you should inform moderators immediately when you see posts copied from other posts, we must keep this forum free of spammers, and posts that moderators delete I think are in violation of the publishing rules.

If you lock your topic so will every one does that half of the topics in the forum will be locked and that does not serve the forum purpose my friend

That's a great idea friend . Admins and moderators should try to add such feature so that members itself can avoid spammers and copy pasting by locking their topics . It will reduce the workburden of moderators as well as reduce spammers.
