right @guatazoo..litecoin is a crypto currency.  And cryptocurrencies are not legal tender in all countries.  Litecoin is legal in countries where cryptocurrency is legal.  Cryptocurrencies are legal tender in 69 countries, but gradually cryptocurrencies will be legal tender in all countries.

There is no banning against one specific cryptocurrency , some countries have restriction on all of cryptos, not on specific ones, and other countries have facilitation for crypto trade, they even have ATMs for it. So if litecoin is restricted in a particular country then all of the other currencies are restricted too.
