Thanks for the warning, this information is extremely valuable and useful, this information should be disclosed more frequently because sometimes we are very unsuspecting and with the expectation of receiving a prize or bonus we end up exposing ourselves to bad people

Scammers have always been and will be. Therefore, one must always be on the alert. Be suspicious of new sites. It is especially dangerous to pass KYC on new sites. Check carefully the sites on which you want to leave your information. Best regards, your servant.

Hello dear friends.

A lot of websites, especially Airdrops websites, require KYC or identity verification in order to get the free bonus for example.

However, some of these sites might be scam and could steal your ID very easily!

So please, do some researches before sharing your ID.

Thank you very much for the advice my friend, we need to be more aware of these things, I have done several airdrops and I quit when they start asking for money, millions of referrals and ask for pictures, these days I was in one that asked for a picture as if I was in jail, in front, in profile, and putting name and ID, I did not do it. We will follow your advice. thank you

There are some legit websites that requirs you to input your identity before you process to the next transaction,

Exactly some legit exchange are platform's airdrops required to submit our identity, if we trust that project then prove our identity there is no problem,

but not just like to grab any airdrop and submit kyc details its not good, because our kyc details important for scammers, they can do anything with our details so be careful.

When the site is safe and also has good comments about your service, maybe it will, but when they ask for many things, it is better to suspect the integrity of the users in any case.

Truly, there are numerous destinations that require confirmation of individual character and are misleading, thusly everybody ought to be cautious and not to share their own personality or identification but to worldwide and legitimate stages.

Thanks for the recommendation my friend. I literally don't provide my identity to Airdrop websites or the other website unless i'm sure it's 100% secure and trusted

Such sites exploit you by using the reward that you do not get, and by filling 0ut your information, you become a customer for them in any project that uses your information and other purposes as well. I have said to you, you do not want to give your information, and you will only direct this through the mail where you receive notifications from sites that do not link you with any relationship.

True, many of these sites end up becoming scams, which raises the fear that they will fraudulently use our identities for their crimes. It is important to research well any platform that requires a KYC process to avoid future problems.

It's nice to see people are aware of the risks involved when sharing identity information on exchanges and more recently in airdrop campaigns. We all know that KYC is design to prevent fraud and financial crimes, such as money laundering, and it's required to meet some regulations. However, how safe is our personal information in such? and how sure can we be such information is not going to be used with fraudulent purposes. We also agree that it's up to people to make extensive research before sharing their personal data with any website, but how often does this occur in reality? I personally don't take part in airdrops that require passing a KYC, unless they're offered by well-reputed platforms, such as Yobit.

If you participate in airdrops choose without KYC and use email, Twitter, Facebook accounts created just for this purpose.

If hackers can't hack the crypto itself, their obvious target will be users. They will look for gaps in security and hack the platform you use to store your digital assets to line your pockets. Therefore, the first and foremost safety tip is to take safety measures and take them seriously. Use complex passwords. Avoid public WiFi. Beware of phishing scams. Do not store your cryptocurrencies on exchanges. Keep your device safe. Buy a cryptocurrency monedor or hardware. Enable two-factor authentication. Keep your crypto assets private.

I agree with this, that's why I am always very careful when I see and airdrop requires KYC, I don't usually trust them unless it comes from a well know exchange, and most of times exchanges always require KYC so in that part it's almost inevitable, you just have to make sure that those are legit sites

You are right, you have to be very careful in the sites where you are going to perform a kyc because most of them are fradulent and you can be exposed to any fraud so you have to investigate the reputation of the site well although we are never fully protected against a scam. Cheers

I agree with many comments but sending your data and a little personal information would serve to generate more trust and obviously one trusting the site where you are developing.  At the moment there are many people who falsify their identity and take advantage of certain benefits that virtual currency pages could offer.

That truth sometime we want to get some extra money and we provide our identify many of the protect don't have a strong security and the hacker can stole very easy. Im scare with this because many company ask about your Identify and we don't know what they do with this information like facebook has the control of many information that used to sell to the company. For the other hand the government always fort to the company to be regulation, this happed with Bitmex that offer a service in USA with KYC and will have problem with the government.

Most of the airdrops know how to ask for documents such as the kyc or passport to be approved to receive the coins that they will give but sometimes they do not know what they will do with it and the truth is that it can be scam

Any consumer must be vigilant about the information that she/he gives on any website. It is very important not to use the same password for all the online accounts, do not overshare on social media as in Facebook lotteries, do not send delicate informtion by email even if you have a secure password.

You are absolutely right friend, you should not provide our information to a website at all and more if it is unknown, but the truth is that many websites to do most of the things and they see that we are real they ask you for some type of document provide some kind of data that has always been the case and I think it will continue to be, it is something that we should not do but hey we all do it because otherwise we get nothing.

It's like when we accept the conditions, nobody reads them, we just accept them by the pull and out, and maybe we're giving them our house and we don't care hehehe

For example, for the airdrops they have asked us to twitter or tik tok or something else like that, that we publish or leave some data, and that is already dangerous in itself but good.

I suppose we will continue to do so and pray to our lord that we do not do anything that will ultimately harm us.

It is advisable to avoid at all costs these types of sites that ask us for personal data as a verification step, especially those that require the KYC process in which we reveal information from personal documents so that these are later used to steal our identity.

Bits.media: https://bits.media/birzhi-binance-i-kucoin-vozobnovlyayut-rabotu-v-indii-/
