For me , such people do think that it is a scan simply because they feel like it is. When I knew nothing about cryptocurrency , I also considered it as a scam till I read about it and used it to transact one to two transactions. The reason that people have this misconception is simply because they see it happen that someone has been ripped of bitcoins but they don't care to understand it look into what really happened. As you can see, people see it mainly on news and other places where scams are being proclaimed and are mainly linked to crypto hence giving such an impression. What they should know is , that cryptocurrency is a great currency on it's own and just like any other currency , you can't be scammed of it fo you don't give a consent or fall for their trap.

Great , I recently saw a Reddit post which was mainly talking about this. A person lost over $300 transacting to coinbase. account. He copied the address but didn't confirm the address and in the course the address was swap.to a different one where he sent to a different address.

Indeed not all news must be trusted and I am also guilty of this. Not always do I verify the news I receive on my own but I in turn pass it around whether it is true or not.and I think that isn't always a great one coming from me. Thank you.

For me, placing the bet on tether to surpass Ether might not be possible. Tether does really well though but with the rise of smart contracts as well as several others on Ethereum, it is very unlikely that it would surpass Ether Yes, it should , I don't see tether to be that great to be able to surpass Ethereum and also it just made it to the top three just because the other cryptocurrencies were going down and it being a stable coin was used so when the currencies go really down , we can earn a little more profit by converting back into the currency we used to HODL..

This is quite a great opportunity for all to earn but is it possible for one coin or DLRS to be able to reach $1? The difference between a public and a private key is really simple as I have an order in which I explain it to people for them to understand. Take your wallet or Bitcoin wallet to be any mobile wallet app where you send and receive money let's say PayPal. In PayPal, you have your password and your email where you login in with your password and email , in relation to crypto the email is your public key and the password is your private key. How?? In a case where you are receiving money from someone , you send them the email to send you the money and in logging into your account you need the password which is your private key. With that being said, the private key is used to have access to one's wallet and with that anyone can get into your wallet so it is not advisable to share it with someone and on the other hand the public key is what we mostly call the wallet address and it is also used to receive funds from others. NB : When you lose or forget your public key , you can get it back and it is not even advisable to memorize it but if you lose your private key , you can never get it back again.
