Even if bitcoin isn't accepted wide in my country yet, I'm using it for shopping with Wirex card. Anytime I need, I can exchange any of cryptocurrencies to fiat in Wirex mobile wallet and top up card within seconds. Then pay for whatever I need π

If small amounts - why not. You can secure account with 2fa, even slow withdrawals are going every 6 hours for pennies as for fees, small minimum withdrawal amount, and you can even earn few sats as interests on your holdings.

What's your country stand on bitcoin & cryptocurreny ?
Lupandina replied to Ajlovez7's topic in Crypto World
In my country crypto is still in ace age. No proper laws to regulate it. When I wanted to get an official licence for my activity, it was a headache and for me, and for governments institutions π -
I prefer xrp. Amazing fast and cheap transactions has a future.

Yes, and I used to do it some time ago, pretty profitable. But it's a huge risk, I would say, gambling π Never would lend in stable coins. Better usual fiat with more warranties then...

Never keep all eggs in one basket... π More then a year ago, my husband invested biggest part of our crypto savings in ADA. And so, it's still stucked... Didn't even reach that price for which we bought it. -
Do you keep Bitcoin on Exchanges and online wallets?
Lupandina replied to hexwin's topic in Crypto World
I keep part of my coins in exchanges or online wallets, but with few conditions: it must be small amounts, which I need to be easy accessible, it must be highly trusted sites (like, I never would keep even a dollar in site like cryptopia or similar), and there must be some benefits of it (f.e., interests and staking rewards in Binance, or smth similar). -
Freebitco.in - Win Free Bitcoins every hour!
Lupandina replied to 1millionClub's topic in Gambling/HYIP's/FreeCoins
Earlier I was using this site to get free coins, which I got pretty nice amount in total, btw. Now I'm using it instead of small hot wallet π Why not? Very cheap withdrawal fees, small minimum amount. And while you don't need funds, it generates extra as from interests (enough at least to cover fees).- 283 replies

Even if you are taking security seriously, still, online wallets should be used only for small amounts of crypto, which you are actually using. I wouldn't hold crypto for long term there.

Stake.com - many challenges and give away there
Lupandina replied to Cent21's topic in Gambling/HYIP's/FreeCoins
For me, Stake is best of all gambling sites (and I've tried prob every single of it). But well, people are different, and searching for different things. -
Well, I wasn't researching very deep, but as much I remember, it's worldwide, with some features restrictions to some countries. EU countries without restrictions, didn't check others too much. Card + delivery is free. Card account maintenance smth like 1 eur monthly. Online and in-store purchases free, atm withdrawals - can't remember fee, as not using that.

Well, most part of owned crypto I'm holding, investing or something like that. Smaller part (like 10% of my crypto earnings) I'm accumulating in Wirex wallet. I have their card, so anytime I need, I can immediately exchange some crypto to fiat, and spend with card. Usually it's for daily family needs, but sometimes I'm feeling deserved enough to buy something nice just for myself π I chose Wirex because I have not much other choices of crypto cards here in my country, but there's one more thing I liked. It's cashback π it's cool to receive extra btc to wallet every time I paid with card (it's not common practice in my country for any other bank card, so maybe that's why I'm so excited about that :))
