The good content of yours and knowledge gives you a good face at forum. I personally love to read some content writers here and wait for their content. Their topics, posts also helpful for me. They do their job very honestly so we all have to work genuinely. Which will gives you like and followers. When I find an interesting comment and topic I check the writer other content and gives reputation and follow. This also happened to me I get my followers and good reputation by working hard.
