I really like investing in ethereum, it is a currency that can always be very useful. Another very good currency to invest in is XRP which has a very low commission fee. And of course the best of all and the main one, bitcoin, I highly recommend it since it is the crypto that will always serve as the basis for any other virtual currency.

As a beginner I bought Stratis and Reddcoin. Basically because they where cheap and they are coins with the Proof of Stake consensus. And you have to run your own node to get the stakes. That is a great way to learn how a blockchain network works. Especially once in while you have to upgrade the node software otherwise you are not part of the network anymore because of old software. So it is a great way to learn about blockchain.
