In my opinion, if you want to risk, use an amount that you can afford to lose, because the loss ratio equals the profit percentage here.

As for regular trading I think + 20% per month is an excellent rate.

When I lose in day trading i don't actually get panic because my own believe is that the luck is not by my side at that particular moment and I will learn from it and improve next time during the day trading.
