Yes it is considered resistant to bots. Be in any location in the registry so that repetitive action by bots is blocked.

Main purpose of it was to lessen the times that bots would spam so they could control the situation more better than nothing since they wont stop spamming they had to introduce captcha to the cryptotalk forum and its actually safer for us.

No, I don't think that they are profiting from us when we are entering CAPTCHAS here in the forum. What I think is that they did that because there are a lot of bots here in the forum and CAPTCHAS is just a way to prevent those bots from posting here in the forum.

Well, that's true mate, the main objective of captcha is to detect if there's an existing bots here in this forum or in any kind of sites, it's good to have a captcha to be safe your site from the hackers and also bots.

Remember, nowadays, hackers are capable even to break out the CAPTCHA verification test by using different virus and malware. If you wish to have the extra protection on sites, it is advised to improve the system architectures so nicely.

Wow thanks you for this information, initially I thought the captcha was jut used to varifed if the user is truly working or it's using the help of robot to do all his work without havening to login himself now I understand thank you

Captcha is actually used to recognize humans and robots. Robots can't usually solve the Captcha puzzles. So it makes a point that we can recognize if a person is robot or a human

I think CAPTCHA was used to separate the human to robot. Maybe this is used to avoid spamming and spam bots in this site. But for me I not encountered this one in this site.

There is no profit from CAPTCHA, do not think that the payment comes through the CAPTCHA that you make, this is very wrong, it is only a means of protection for the forum.
