Thought I'd try out this "POLL" option when making posts to see how it works and looks. Some posts would be better served to use a poll system than to ask a general question and wait for replies. This one is pretty simple but seems to be a popular topic of debate so I'm interested in seeing what the members here think.

There are more threads here on Bitcoin price prediction where people agreed no one can predict anything. Do you think if the poll shows that price increase, then does it really rise?

Bitcoin is stucked at 8k from the past week so it is not moving down or up, but from me it will move up only.

The end of 2017 will come back to us and moreover, the value will be 10 times the present. Give me an umbrella, I will fly with Bitcoin soon

Well, I have voted for "Not until after the Halving"

Have you seen BAKKT launch didn't affect the bitcoin price? While when we usually saw a news on BAKKT launch back in the day, the price used to get some pump. The same way, before halving, nothing will be happened. Until halving BTC price will increase slowly till $15000. After, after halving we will see some significant move, may be new ATH heading to $40000

Offtopic- you are one of the best of best posters here. I wish to see your post around. I have read some of your post and found each post worthy to read.

The next ATH will take place after the Halvening even which is going to occur in 2020/May, nearly 200 days later. Before that time I don't really expect a price above $20k but who knows maybe  the guys at Tether headquarters decide to print more tether and we all become rich way sooner.

Thanks for the compliments, I enjoy writing here. It's quite easy really as I'm very passionate about Bitcoin and Crypto. It's easy to talk about something you enjoy and I feel I have some good knowledge worth sharing. Getting the satoshi is a nice bonus as I trade on Yobit already but I don't do it for that. It's fun, entertaining, and a nice break from staring at the markets all day. There'll be plenty more as I'll keep on going with writing here and talking on other Topics as well. Thanks again and I'm glad you enjoy my work.

I think the Bakkt misfire is what's caused the decline. We've been heading downward since the launch and it seems to have created some short term uncertainty.

Yup, I have read some articles, following some discussion on bitcointalk, seems people are a bit scared on no affect from BAKKT launch. And when you see negativity around, it will certainly result FUD at the end. I think we are heading toward that.

Although I disagree on your TA analysis the other day, now it make sense a little. In fact, I don't love TA because it barely have any back up.

Again, I have to thank you for your great contribution here building a good forum environment. Yeah, I know you are not here for satoshi. Keep my bro. I will go through each of your post.

I will answers not until after the Halving because we talking about new ATH which mean the price should be surpassing $20k and indeed before halving the price very potential to rise up but i doubt it will be reach to $20k or more

In 2019, it was only 3 months, bitcoin could not increase to 15k, so BTC could only increase up to 10k and the lowest 6k. This depends on the community and investors. At the end of the year there will be a sell-off for Tet.

I think its all time {so far} high will be between christmas and spring 2020. It wont catch traders by suprice the halving. The movement we are seeing now is probably in prep for just that.

Just look at LTC for an exaple. It was very high. Then dropped. It went back up again before the halfing and dropped sharply again. It was actually worth more before because as the dificulty goes up hash rate goes down and so does the confidence of the investor.

My guess is $11,111.12 (you can figure my stash using math by this guess) :)

I think it is unlikely to get about that price till after halving though.

mt. gox is still not paid out...in the USA the IRS is going to release new guidelines probably retroactive back to 2009

that all earnings from mining and/or sale of btc has capital gains via blockchain AT THE exact time/date the

transaction happened. I asked my CPA about this in 2013 using daily off an exchange for price mining...she said..

they won't do such when I asked about future tools..yeah right...then the usual Trump Admin silliness etc...so we have

a lot of dram ahead yet till after haling I'm afraid.

Am I on the right path? I'm here to invest in crypto but since I don't have money to invest I want to start hunting for bounties and airdrops and from there I can use the money to buy better popular coins and tokens ,any chance that these can be achievable ?
