Brave swag: where you can pay BAT token

Privacy-oriented Brave browser's Swag Store now sells non-fungible tokens (NFTs), or digital collectibles that are tokenized on blockchain.

Brave has partnered with Origin Protocol for the initiative, which powers its store via decentralized e-commerce marketplace Dshop since April last year. The extended partnership now allows Brave to sell NFTs in return for crypto payments.

 

Swag Store accepts ether (ETH) and Brave's native basic attention token (BAT) for payments, in addition to credit cards.

I came across this article by chance and got to know Brave's market, called Swag. It is interesting to see this market more and more items and buyers can use ETH or BAT for payment.

Brave Swag also becomes 1 NFT market. This will give Brave more potential users.

 

 

Have you ever bought anything on the Brave Swag? Do you think in the future Brave will focus on Swag to turn it into a major e-commerce platform in crypto sector?

I am not using Brave but these are moves to the right direction. It has done so much and has helped a few people to make an income too. I would prefer and promote Brave browser if I was a streamer because it gives more ways of receiving rewards. It could become powerful, but it was limited in the payments in many countries from watching ads and I didn't try it.

Getting into the nft is also important and can increase the revenues and perhpas help BAT price too.

@Mella Everything just started with Brave. Brave has been very successful with the browser, and I believe they have enough experience developing other backend platforms. BAT has been listed on Coinbase, which confirms the potential of the Brave project. Hope this will be the driving force for BAT token price to grow well in the future.

I just happy to see crypto coins expands it's borders to be used for payment and many other things, gaming, local stores and online stores. Slowly taking over paper money.

@selfmadeBrave's market is quite simple and doesn't have a lot of products for users/buyers, but I believe this is the first step for Brave to expand its ecosystem. Currently Brave is still the only browser that rewards users with BAT tokens, Brave's market will have the opportunity to reach millions of Brave browser users. Do you own BAT to use in future?

I do have some BATS, but about the brave browser been the only one giving rewards it is not quite true, microsoft edge also gives rewards for browsing, just not cryptocurrencies rewards, I hope they shift to cryptocurrencies rewards too.

@selfmade Edge also pays users rewards? This is the first time I hear of this, it is quite interesting.
You can switch to Brave to be rewarded with BAT for watching ads from Brave. It will take quite a while to reach 25 BAT, but at least you won't have to see as many ads as you would on other browsers.

Well Microsoft edge does not have ads at all from what I know, but they do to pay for all countries that the only downside. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/rewards/edge-bonus

Nope but I am interested in it. I have bought some goods in Origin's swag store by using OGN tokens but their shipping process is irritating. I hope Brave's Swag store has not the similar problem.

Probably yes. As I have been noticing the project, they have seriously done great to bring the change in e-commerce sector.

That is why third world countries are getting longer to develop especially in terms of cryptocurrencies, while other have big crypto support like ATMs and many more we can't even be rewarded in some PTC and others like the brave browser while we are the ones who could use those rewards more than USA.

About the future crypto developments we don't have to be waiting to see crypto in paper money, because crypto itself it help to simplify online payments while paper money is not for online payments.

I really don't underground how those platforms are paying for browsing, this lead me to avoid using such platforms, because I think they could be using our devices for performing mining.

The brave swag store is doing really great. From NFTs to the merchandise they are selling everything and the best thing I had seen is that, in some merchandise we get both NFT and the merchandise. 

I am just hoping if the Cryptotalk community also had such store and we could buy the products with our talk tokens. It would be really awesome for all members and the promotion will also be done if the clothes have talk token branding on it. And it would be one of the utility for talk token increasing the demand of the token in market.
