NFT: good & bad. Should forum publish NFT?

NFT really became one of the biggest trends in the crypto community in March and we see auctions worth tens of millions of dollars, equivalent to a large ICO/IEO. And of course, the NFT controversies are as big as the investments.

 

Let me summarize a bit about the NFT. As far as I understand, there are 2 types of NFT projects:
+ The 1st: NFT is created directly on blockchains like Ethereum. Users use ETH to create & own NFT, such as CryptoKitties. It can be seen that projects of this type do not significantly affect the price of native tokens ETH, even as harmful as 2017;
+ The 2nd: there is a project that issues a platform based on the original blockchain, for example Decentraland on Ethereum. This platform allows users to create NFT LAND using its own token -MANA. Increased demand for NFT LAND will boost demand for MANA, causing a huge increase in MANA price.

 

Around the NFT debates, we will see both the pros and cons of NFT:

1. Advantages:
+ Satisfy everyone's need for "owning";
+ Has great potential for application in games and intellectual property markets (music, cinema, sports, science...);
+ Gives great profits for owners of NFT assets.

 

2. Disadvantages:
+ The concept of blockchain/crypto is still quite vague to community, many people do not understand the value of NFT;
+ Many auctions are manipulated, the value is not real;
+ Because NFT is tied to some POW blockchain, NFT faces energy & environment problem.

Many people even believe that NFT is similar to the ICO wave of 2017, just a trick for whales to attract cash flow as investors.

What is your opinion on this? Do you trust and support the NFT? Do you want to own NFT of CryptoTalk forum?

Is this is possible because forum has no intention like this and it is just a crypto discussion forum so i do not think this gonna be happen .. But this is true that NFT gonna create hype on market now as like the defi has created.. I  am still learning about the NFT and it look little bit interesting to me everytime .

@Dorjoy12This may become something new and will make the members of the forum extremely excited. Designers can create NFTs for forums for earning satoshi. Then the forum will broadcast the NFT to the lucky members in a forum promotion campaign. Later, these NFTs will be bought and sold at a better price on NFT markets.

At first forum should create a section about NFT like they have created about defi and later  member can discuss different thing goodly on the section .. while if forum authorities interest  on it then they will ask member idea .. Infect this will be cool i think .

@Dorjoy12At least this should not have a negative effect on the forum, it just increases the interest of the members. And it also proves that the forum's management team is still working effectively, always keeping an eye on the crypto market to serve its users. As a forum fan, I would be happy to have something special related to CryptoTalk.

Our forum is still new mate ..and within this short time our forum already doing very good thing such as help many competition between user, published forum token project which will be the only payment system near future .. In this case ,NFT fact might be accepted future till NFT do not become  a stable thing on crypto .

@Dorjoy12To me, a forum with a lot of new changes is more attractive than a forum that is too traditional and less user friendly. Currently some forums are releasing their own NFT to entice more members. Issuing NFT is also extremely easy, but it brings joy to loyal members.
CryptoTalk Admin & Mod can consider this suggestion.

I am not against this genuine technology to create the unique NFT to identify the owner genuinely but only the extreme hypes and overrated chaos for NFTs is looking strange to me and surely I do not like the trend of selling a single Tweet in a form of NFT for a million dollars as a Tweet has no remarkable use cases. 

What sort of NFTs to be owned on Cryptotalk? NFTs for our posts 😁?

@Whited35Although I see the great potential of NFTs, I cannot explain the current selling price of NFTs. Everything has been over-exaggerated, and I believe many buyers will rethink in the future.
As for CryptoTalk, I think some artists or members can create drawings/logos about forum in exchange for a certain amount of TALK. The forum can then either auction them off or reward the most active members every day.
I would be very excited to own and sell such NFTs. At least it shows that I am an "important" member of CryptoTalk ^^

Oh wow, I did not think in this way but at its core, it is one of the best idea to increase the use cases of TALK tokens. As this idea comes for the first time from you, I expect you to create a proposal in our special thread Dialogue with the Administration by mentioning administrator Bigpat, surely he will appreciate the ideas presented by the forum members. I have bookmarked this thread to give credit for your ideas even in future.

Maybe the next time there will be another contest in this forum's next anniversary, the forum admin may want to include NFTs of some sort, in addition to the usual BTC, as a prize. And make its equivalent to TALK tokens very big as an incentive.

 

Contest formats can be anything, not just drawings/logos. It can also be topics as well, just like last year.

@Whited35Thanks for your advice, I will try to do so. It is not easy for me, we need a small tokenomics for TALK token, while we still do not know the interest of the forum members to NFT.

 

@kyoukage01 I don't think a post is really special for members, we should have certain logos or symbols related to the forum, and better yet, they can be traded on the NFT markets.

You can do it and it is not so hard. Genuine tokenomics expected for the TALK tokens and it is the common concern on forum. We all are serious regarding the future of TALK tokens so maybe constructive ideas will help administrators to determine further strategies. Myself, I have provided so many feedbacks and most of them were taken seriously and already implemented so many features on this forum.

@Whited35I want members to be able to use TALK to bid for forum NFTs, but for now we cannot get TALK out of Yobit yet, at least we have to wait until CryptoTalk integrates TALK on BSC or TRON. So I assume that people can buy and sell forum NFTs, forum will use TALK to pay designers, and the profits from the NFT will be used to buy and burn TALK.

@Farah Durani Yeah, NFT is quite confusing for most people, because there is native token of NFT platform ^^
I think in the future we will see more NFTs, then its concept will be more accepted.
I am still looking forward to the opinion of many experienced members, maybe we will find a new feature of the TALK token.

Currently, administrator is looking busy and I am not having much conversations with him. I am focused to seek possibilities to bring so many projects on our forum which can be bounties or some sort of other activities. Maybe, creating NFTs is one of the excellent ideas and I think, integrating with TRON or BSC is not a problem as there is affordable fee structure with the faster blockchain.

No, I'm not talking about posts. I'm talking about topics. You know, well-written ones that could have been posted on some other news or analysis website otherwise. I think those topics deserve as much consideration for NFT implementation.

 

We shouldn't limit ourselves to logos and topics either. We should consider any forum feature that can be tokenized.

I think we will be able to wait for admin response to this suggestion, most likely my crazy idea will be accepted and we will have an interesting bonus joining CryptoTalk forum.

Have you passed the proposal to forum administration? If yes, more likely. They take constructive suggestions seriously and  implement them on forum to go into the contrast. There are so many possibilities but we do not know what are things in the hit-list of forum admins to promote the market of TALK tokens.

@Whited35 Yes, I have submitted a suggestion on the topic you recommend. Maybe admin & mods are busy with something more important, or my suggestion doesn't really match the forum.
Anyway I think we need some change to make CryptoTalk more evolving. The members lost a lot of motivation after TALK entered the new rewards system.

@Fiyyaz7711Yeah, there's no reason for CryptoTalk to miss this trend as NFT has been the focus of the crypto market for the past several weeks. I think if we can create an NFT ecosystem within CryptoTalk, forum will have more members and the TALK price will be guaranteed.

Wow, I checked them seriously here. I ought to congratulate you for giving the constructive feedbacks to the forum administration. They regularly check the feedbacks coming in that sensitive thread but they might face hard time to find spare time to reply all feedbacks. Let's have patience whether they apply your suggestions in the real-world applications or not. Ideas about an NFT on forum was also the best.

@Whited35 NFT as a Non-fingible token came as total surprise for me, as I am new to this term and was curious to know what it is actually, when I heard the news for the first time about NFT, as the CEO of Twitter Jack Dorsey sold out his first tweet for $2.9 million. Dorsey put his tweet as a digital auction, and the winning bidder Sina Estavi got to own the official Twitter as the ownership of digital copyrights.
