What is the different between alts and Bitcoin?

Altcoins stand for alternative coins and this is a term that is used for every coin accept Bitcoin in the cryptocurrency. So in broad terms cryptocurrency can be classified into bitcoin and altcoins.

In my opinion that both are digital currencies but bitcoin has high priority as compare to litcoin. It's due to that bitcoin is older than litcoin and it's value is high in market.

Basically cryptocurrency is not a single currency. it consists of a lot of currencies as the physical world have a lot of currency of different countries as the US dollar Pakistani and Indian Indian rupees and other currencies of other countries just like that the cryptocurrency also consists of a lot of kinds of like Bitcoin lead to kind and all other so basically the difference is the price difference and their demand. Bitcoin Cryptocurrency Crypto started with coins and bitcoin first, then altcoins are coming to the market.  Bitcoin is more popular than cryptocurrency altcoins and the price of these coins is higher due to the demand.  Bitcoin prices are much higher than altcoin in terms of bitcoin prices.  Bitcoin works with more bitcoins as the price is higher than altcoins.

I think major difference between is it's value... Because bitcoin value is 23k dollar and it's a king of all cryptocurrency and alt coin value is 109 dollar... It is short for an alternative coin. Since bitcoin is considered as the king of crypto, then altcoins come after it. Altcoins are either forks (from existing blockchains of existing cryptocurrencies), or entirely new blockchains made by the developers. Same with crypto coins, the difference is that Bitcoin was made earlier than altcoin and it can be said that Bitcoin is the father of coins. Bitcoin and altcoin are the same type.

Bitcoin is considered the nucleus of cryptocurrencies and as a result of BTC, new cryptocurrencies are born which are called alternates or alternatives, but these depend on the market with respect to BTC since their most common exchange pairs are through BTC so it makes them a kind of derivative.

I used only bitcoin and i prefer it than others because bitcoin is more profitable coin than others so i prefer it than others. Alt coin is differ than bitcoin because bitcoin is most using currency for online trading and it gives lots of profit than others and it cant be caught in any scam so this is save than other currencies 

So this forum is useful and beneficial for every user so many user prefer bitcoin than others because its exchanging fee is low and it is more profitable currency than others
