You are right in what you say bitcoin has not made many technological changes since its birth but the old school is the one that dominates the market of cryptomonies today and will continue to do so for many years to come, that it serves to change or develop something that still works perfectly. The old is always better.

Bitcoin is a base currency in our crypto world, however what you mention makes a lot of sense, no one has really wanted to develop the project further, the only thing I see is that they take the bitcoin project and take out forks or similar currencies to make easy money.

Nothing is impossible, but it is a very hard job to replace bitcoin by any other crypto currency because bitcoin is pioneer in the crypto world. Bitcoin showed the world what crypto currency is.

An oldie but a goodie. I only wish btc was cheaper so I could trade more crapcoins with it.  For example, you can’t sell Mask for Btc on a Yobit because Btc is too expensive and Mask is less than 0.00000001btc. This is the same with half the coins on Yobit. I suppose we always have doge but I prefer to trade with Btc wherever I can.

I do not think it is old school since it is the first cryptocurrency that was created in and based on its blockchain technology the other crypto was based, although there are better currencies with rapid scalability, I believe that Bitcoin will always be the example to follow.

Of course bitcoin is old school but it is still the best today and forever, and its technology is developed because it is using the blockchain technology which is competitor of ethereum network.
