I tend to look at the SSL certificate on the site which can be found by clicking the locker to the left of the URL.

If the certificate is issued within a few days, and the website states the project has been going on for months or years, I don't trust it and move on.

I also lookup the website on a whois domain lookup tool. I've noticed that some of the scams that got me was registered to a site called Namecheap. I can't say if this is a coincidence or most projects with anonymous developers uses this service. But I don't see it being used by the more trusted projects.

you have to search in web all platfroms. and if they want money it is scam. dont send eth for gas. more of them is scam. ı sent before but ı will never do again. you dont send money anyone for gas. or anything else
