This is most certainly a scam promoted by a known fraudster. I don't know how he can call himself professor at all, he is a big liar, and publicity hungry wanker.

I think we can answer this with a big fat underlined Yes! CSW is a well-known guy for suspicious activities. (Scams) The fun thing is that BCH ABC is also a Scam and BCH when it launched is a scam too. I told this to Roger Ver so often on Twitter that he blocked me 😄 Told him that on 1st August 2017 when they launched. I had some balls back then and send 10 BTC to Yobit and got 10 BCH which I sold for 0.34 BTC per coin (Went on 0.48 BTC per coin afterward) But all this made those guys even richer then they were before. Everything that CSW touches is a scam in my eyes... This guy is full of shit.

Are you telling me that you had 10 Bitcoins in year 2017 or what ?

Anyway I don't think all forks are total scam, and they can exist as some people just can't work together anymore, or they have other visions and ideas.

But if you LIE that you are Satoshi several times... that is different story.

5 minutes ago, phabulu said:

Not scam, After BCH that should be fork to bring the true Idea of Satoshi they changed it to a wrong way, the main Idea os BSV is to follow the real purpose of BTC whitepaper and being a true Satoshi vision

What a bunch a nonsense ....

Bsv is a very well known scam. It is being promoted by the criminal Calvin Ayre and his puppet another criminal Craig Wright. Craig Wright is famous for forging fake documents. He even did it in the court room while looking straight into the eyes of the Judge. His days are probably numbered. Tbh, I am quite surprised why he is allowed to walk freely.

Apart from being a shitcoin it is totally a scam, in reality everything that comes from Craig Wright for me is undoubtedly a scam.

Yes I had much more back then but just risked 10 BTC for the fork as Yobit made the Snapshot very very early I think it was 25th July 2017 after this Fork I took them all 😄 Bitcoin Gold even LIZA 😄 Free money. I don't think all these Forks was really healthy for Bitcoin but time will show. I think I just made on Mellowads around 35 BTC within 2 years publishing check this post I shared some of my payouts back then.

Good for you.  If you still hold some Bitcoin....
maybe you can become HEX coin multi-millionaire if you claim it.
It is not a fork, and it supports BTC holders 😉 and it is also Free money.

Sadly I missed many of that forks before, but I am not sad for BS Faketoshi Vision

Don't expect everything from the exchanges. Exchanges care about only one thing, trading volumes. It is great binance did the right thing but many exchanges won't care about it as long as bsv brings trading volume.

Our power as customers is bigger than the power of the exchanges. Just dump bsv if you have and ignore it completely and the exchanges will have to delist it because of low volume.

Bitcoin SV is the bitcoin implementation that is closest to the Bitcoin whitepaper. If people checked everything around BSV would easily understand it. If you notice how every single scammer in crypto is going against Dr. Wright you would find out who's right and who's wrong.

Anybody interested in it, I suggest you to check the resources available. I'm sure many people in the crypto space will have a hard awakening soon...

EDIT: For people which came in the space around 2016 and later, I suggest to start with this blog post from Mike Hearn (one of the first Bitcoin Core developer) to understand what happened to Bitcoin after Blockstream took it over.

Craig Wright is a man nobody should trust and the bitcoin community spurned him and relegated his status to that of a scammer/swine. Now, I don't know who this man is on a personal level though I understand he has billions too and I think he is on the quest (hope he can pay me) to force all people to believe that he is the Satoshi Nakamoto. I am so willing to sign my name if needed to make him feel that I do believe everything he is saying...just pay me, sir.

Oh, how much? Just $1,000. That's all.

Isn't it fun how Dr Craig Wright is the only one in the crypto industry which reference the Bitcoin whitepaper and didn't ask for money from anyone, but he is considered a scammer for wanting to bring bitcoin back to what it was intended since the beginning?

Half of the voters voted for "not scam" which is very very alarming imo. This shows us that the crypto people are not well informed about the scams and Craig 's disinformation tactics are working quite well. We need to work harder and explain the scams.

I'm sorry mate but you're the one that isn't well informed about the crypto industry.
Explain it to me, what's the scam in promoting the Bitcoin whitepaper, which reference what is bitcoin and how it works?

As I posted earlier, I suggest you to read the post from Mike Hearn which explain quite well how the Blockstream developers took over bitcoin while kicking out everyone disagreeing with them.

And just for the records, Mike Hearn and Gavin Andresen are the bitcoin developers which worked on bitcoin while Satoshi Nakamoto was still active on bitcointalk, so I suppose they are the most knowledgeable about bitcoin.

I don't know much about the BSV. I wasn't happy already when BTC split into two chains. BSV was to me just another split, just the BTG. I did not follow information and I'm unaware what BCH and BSV is now (what is the Bitcoin ABC). For that reason, I don't split my coins to sell the BSV, because I'm not informed

Bitcoin isn't what Mike Hearn or Gavin Andresen say it is. Their words don't mean shit anymore. They left the bitcoin project long time ago. Craig Wright says BSV is the real bitcoin but BSV's hashrate is so tiny it is not even visible on the charts, How can you say BSV isn't a scam? It is %100 a scam.

It's better to say it as a shit coin than scam coin as it has not scammed anyone but rather a coin which not much of use and fundamentally very week.

Bitcoin is what's written on the Satoshi Nakamoto whitpaper - Bitcoin: A Peer-To-Peer Electronic Cash System as you can find here: https://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf
Craig Wright is just building it again after Blockstream made BTC become a digital gold-ponzi-hodl-settlement-system.
I'm not worried about hashrate, miners can switch chain in minutes. I'm most interested in the increasing number of applications being built on the BSV blockchain, the increasing number of transactions and the fact that come next February they will remove every limit on the network, as Satoshi Nakamoto himself wrote explicitly on bitcointalk, personal emails with Mike Hearn, Gavin Andresen.

If anyone is interested here are some links where whoever want to know a little bit of history of bitcoin can give them a read.

https://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf
https://nakamotostudies.org/
https://nakamotostudies.org/emails/
https://nakamotostudies.org/tag/mike-hearn/

After reading them, you can compare with some of Craig Wright posts about Bitcoin SV or read more about BSV capacity and you will find they're just the same.

https://craigwright.net
https://bitcoinsv.io/
https://bitcoinscaling.io/
https://www.bsvdevs.com/

Enjoy the read, it will make you more knowledgeable about bitcoin and its history, to understand what is and will happen. 😉

BSV is a shitcoin without hashrate. No consensus, no hashrate. Only scammers running that project. Craig wright was caught while forging fake documents in the court room. He is a criminal.

Wrong answer.

the Right answer would be:

"It doesn't exist."

Also check hexwin's post:

BSV is a complete scam just like its scam brother BCH. Both are created by scammers to scam people.

    • CryptoNews of the Week     – The first cryptocurrency has once again risen above the $70,000 mark. The Hash Ribbons indicator is giving an “optimal signal” for buying digital gold in the coming weeks, suggesting a resumption of the asset’s rally, according to Capriole Investments founder Charles Edwards. The metric indicates miner capitulation that began two weeks ago, a period when the 30-day moving average hash rate falls below the 60-day average. Edwards notes that miner capitulation occurs approximately once a year, usually linked to shutdowns, bankruptcies, acquisitions, or halving events. The recent miner capitulation was observed in 2023 when bitcoin traded around $20,000. If a new growth impulse occurs, the next medium-term target will be $100,000. However, entering the traditionally quiet summer financial market could delay this upward momentum, Edwards warns.   – The analyst known as Rekt Capital believes that to enter a “parabolic growth phase,” digital gold will need to confidently overcome the resistance zone of $72,000-$73,000. Popular cryptocurrency expert Ali Martinez predicts that BTC will likely test the price range of $79,600. The Artificial Intelligence tool PricePredictions has determined that in the coming days, bitcoin could not only firmly consolidate above the crucial $70,000 mark but also continue to rise, reaching $75,245 by the end of June. This forecast is based on technical analysis indicators such as the Relative Strength Index (RSI), Bollinger Bands (BB), and Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD).   – On 2 June, Dogecoin token graphic designer known as DogeDesigner discovered a live stream on YouTube featuring a deepfake of Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk promoting a cryptocurrency scam. The fake Musk offers users to scan a QR code on the screen leading to a giveaway site. "On the site, you can deposit any amount of bitcoin, Ethereum, and Dogecoin without any registration. Once you do, you'll receive double the amount of the deposited cryptocurrency," promises the fake entrepreneur. The scammers' channel closely resembles the official Tesla page and even has nearly 15,000 subscribers, while the original has 2.65 million.   – Venture investor Chamath Palihapitiya discussed one pathway for the mass adoption of bitcoin on the All-In podcast, predicting its price could rise to $500,000. The billionaire explained that the “powerful concept” of digital gold adoption was elucidated to him by Xapo CEO Wences Casares, an Argentine entrepreneur in venture investment. Casares believes more countries will notice bitcoin while retaining their national currencies, effectively becoming dual-currency nations. One asset will be used for transactions with everyday goods and services, while the other – cryptocurrency – will act as a store of value. The United States could be among the first to follow this path, according to the entrepreneur.  Palihapitiya also noted that Casares suggested analysing bitcoin dynamics after halvings. The investor observed that the cryptocurrency's highest growth occurred 12-18 months post-event. Palihapitiya predicts that if the growth trajectory following the third halving repeats, bitcoin's price could reach $500,000 by October 2025. Taking the average of the last two cycles, the price target could be $1.14 million.   – According to a recent Harris Poll, geopolitical tension and inflation are prompting an increasing number of American voters to turn to bitcoin. The poll, sponsored by BTC-ETF issuer Grayscale, revealed that one in three U.S. voters will consider a Presidential candidate’s stance on cryptocurrencies before casting their vote. The survey polled over 1,700 potential U.S. voters, 77% of whom believe Presidential candidates should have at least some understanding of cryptocurrencies. Additionally, 47% of respondents plan to include cryptocurrency in their investment portfolios, up from 40% last year. Notably, following the approval of BTC-ETF, 9% of elderly voters also reported increased interest in investing in bitcoin or other crypto assets.   – The founder of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, Changpeng Zhao, has entered a federal high-security prison in California, where he will spend the next four months. The crypto community quickly expressed support for the former Binance CEO. A Reddit user, Ilsemprelaziale, commented that Zhao's imprisonment is a step to protect the crypto exchange and the entire industry from potential risks. "If the FTX collapse hit cryptocurrency hard, just imagine what would happen if Binance fell. But he pleaded guilty and stepped down as CEO," Ilsemprelaziale wrote.  After the sentencing, Changpeng Zhao shared plans for his post-prison life, stating he will continue to be actively involved in the crypto community. For instance, the former Binance head plans to engage in passive investing using his existing crypto assets.   – Mexican billionaire Ricardo Salinas urged his followers to buy bitcoin to protect against the devaluation of national currencies and preserve their savings. The owner of Salinas Group, whose wealth is estimated at over $14 billion, cited the fall of the Nigerian naira as an example.  Currently, Nigeria's official currency is experiencing a difficult period, prompting the local government to take several stabilization measures. The country's authorities have also tightened their stance on cryptocurrency companies – in March, the Nigerian Securities and Exchange Commission proposed increasing the registration fee by 400%. The head of Binance’s Financial Crimes Compliance unit, Tigran Gambaryan, is still imprisoned in Nigeria on charges of tax evasion.   – The crypto wallets of well-known personalities have long attracted the attention of curious community members. One of the largest holders of cryptocurrency, as it turns out, is the founder of Tron, Justin Sun, who, according to Arkham Intelligence, owns crypto assets worth $1.03 billion. His largest reserves are in USDD stablecoins, valued at $276 million. Additionally, Arkham calculated that he holds $240 million in TRX and about $100 million in BTC.  The wealth of Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin is estimated to be a comparable amount at $935 million, with most of his holdings in ETH, valued at over $930 million. Pop stars' holdings are significantly smaller. For example, singer Justin Bieber owns ETH tokens worth about $575,000. Socialite Paris Hilton has digital assets worth only $53,000.   – Tether (USDT stablecoins) co-founder, former actor, and 2020 U.S. presidential candidate Brock Pierce is confident that Chinese authorities will lift the cryptocurrency ban. “Will China become open to cryptocurrencies? I can say it's inevitable. The main question is not whether it will happen, but when it will happen,” he stated.  In 2021, the Chinese government included the trading and mining of digital assets in the list of illegal activities. However, a grey crypto market has developed in the country. Pierce believes Hong Kong could become China’s cryptocurrency trading hub. However, this is not currently the case, as the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) of this administrative region of China has prohibited local companies from providing digital asset services to mainland China residents. As a result, many firms have withdrawn their applications for virtual currency trading licenses submitted to the SFC.   – CEO of investment company Galaxy Digital, Mike Novogratz, predicted which crypto asset could become a serious contender for launching new cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the U.S. Over the past year, the most impressive results were shown by the cryptocurrency Solana. At the end of 2023, SOL was trading around $21, but by March 2024, it had exceeded $200, showing nearly tenfold growth. Currently, SOL is valued at around $172 and ranks among the top five cryptocurrencies by market capitalization. Given Solana's current status, Novogratz is confident that this altcoin has every chance to be included in the pool of spot ETFs. Recently, Brian Kelly, CEO of investment company BKCM, expressed a similar view.  Responding to Novogratz, the crypto enthusiast known as Digital Asset Investor suggested that SOL's price increase was due to the collapse of the FTX crypto exchange in autumn 2022 and “too many connections with the authorities.”  Notice: These materials should not be deemed a recommendation for investment or guidance for working on financial markets: they are for informative purposes only.
