After FTX Binance is Launching Tokenized Stocks

I believe all of you are aware about the tokenized stocks. If not then in short:

Tokenized stocks: are those asset that are backed by real stock in stock exchange,ie: NYSE, but are presented in the form of token on certain Blockchain.

This sort of allowence of trade of Stocks on a crypto tradinf platform has becoming pretty popular, Ftx could be the best example, and also filling the gaps between traditional stock market and Blockchain world.

Previously, FTX (a crypto exchange) brought the concept of Tonkenized stocks in their exchange.

This time Binance - leading crypto exchange has announed that they will be starting the tokenized stock trading in their platform  announcing TESLA to be the first stock which is going to be listed in the exchange.

Unlike FTX, the market will be open and close according to the time of NYSE. And all the stock will be backed by the original stock at the exchange making it possible for the holders to get all the facilities that a traditional stock holder would get.

This became possible because of the Binance collab with two firm namely CM Equity AG and Digital Assest AG.

Some notes-

• KYC would be required
• Trading wouldnot be available to restricted areas like mainland China
• Trading would be available only when market is open, ac to NYSE,

I am already a user of FTX exchange. Seriously, they have brought some exceptional features in the crypto world as the Tokenized Stock is itself a new experiment to attract traditional players of the stock markets. I do not know, how Binance will deal with it but I expect, there will be the better launch from Binance. If you are not familiar with the another great platform Morpher, you might do research on it as it is another excellent platform to practice the similar services.

Oh Morpher. I will search about it for sure. Binance has confirmed to list the COIN too which is the coinbase stock and it would be great for those who are outside from the US and like to trade the stock of the Company listed in the New York stock exchange. Overall the power of investment which was limited to certain group of people is being distributed and all the credit goes to the crypto world and the innovative exchanges that are doing their jobs in excellent manner.

One of the most innovative and the trailblazing platform in my personal opinion. They have recently added more than 25 entities to let traders to get benefits in MPH tokens according to the increasing profits based on their opened position. I read that too and I was feeling impressed. But I may ask, this will be exactly the real price in the stocks? How is this working, the price is set by the stock market, for example Tesla, or can the exchange manipulate prices and drop them too much, or make them look to be higher than normal. I am not total trusting Binance with it, but I want to trade stocks. I am not using ftx or etoro, and others that have stocks as I don't trust them with money either. But I will trust Binance more than those.

@Mella The stocks that you buy and sell would be the real stocks.

These two companies would be handlung the back end of the stocks. It means if you buy a stock in binance exchange, these companies would buy the real stock from the NYSE and the price would be same according to the NYSE. You don't need to worry about exchange manuplation. Price will varies according to it's price in stock market of NYSE.

It seems Binance is full on innovative mood. They are adding one after other stocks in the tokenized stocks list. 

And also I would like to inform that, they will be adding NFT market. That seems really cool as I think it is the first time we would be trading NFT in centralised way. And all it  means the easy for retail investors which would further boost the hype of NFT.

Yes the recent maintenance update which are happening pretty fast are because of this upgrade. And slowly Binance is adding more and more stocks which is really good point. Now being physical in ASIA, I would be able to trade in NYSE and S&P 500 companies stocks, this sort of advancement and Blockchain technology backing and pouring things really makes me happy. All of this makes me thinks that, nothing is impossible if we use Blockchain and innovative minds.

Yes, I learned that yesterday, thanks for the reply @Ridam . It is something very good to see from Binance and I will be moving some funds there soon to begin some stock investing. Maybe this will be help so many to have very good diversified portfolios between stocks and crypto.

Sounds interesting. Do you believe Binance will also succeed to grab attentions of general public even in their newly created tokenized stocks(once it gets launced to come into this existence)? It is clearly seen, Binance has experimented in so many field.

Blockchain powered technology can provide the wide range of real-world applications by preventing the single point failure that's why the biggest companies like Binance are seeking the possibilities to meet the growing demands of  their users.

Oh that's great, you learned about it. And yes diversing the portfolio is a must when we are in the trade and investment market. Now, Personally I am also focusing in the stock market of my country and doing trade and investment in both crypto and stocks. Some days when my stop loss is hit on crypto, my trade on stocks goes well so I manage the loss in one field with the another. And for mid-term investment, stocks are more easy to choose so it is great idea to buy few of the great.

Well, to be honest I think yes Binance would easily grab the attention of the general public or retail investors. It would be  way convenient for people to trade stocks in Binance. They just need to complete the KYC, so this would be more easier and faster than creating a broker account and wait for their response to trade in the secondary market in stocks. Also, I think they should start listing companies from other stock market and not only NYSE. Eventually this would remove the borders and limitation  of stock trading.
