What is the usecase for Reputation?

If we find a good post that helps us we give reputation.We give it because he really deserves it.Fake reputation will be known by the moderators.Reputation is used to earn bitcoin while btc payment system was available.Now there is no bound get payment in terms of reputation.I think it is good for everyone.

If I'm not mistaken, reputation is given when someone finds what you said useful, and bad reputation is given when you don't comment on something useful and that needs improvement. Reputation does not give any advantages over other users, a person who has 500 reputation points and 10 reputation points will have the same opportunities on the forum.

Reputation in total does not affect you, but you need to have some reputation that will be positive to earn the crypto talk tokens. Ranks don't give you extra rewards or something else. But if a newbie visits your profile and you have good a good ranking and good content as well. He will definitely visit your profile for the constructive contents.

You are right the ranking system is based on the number of posts irrespective of the reputation points,  so the use case of reputation is just that by these you would know how useful the content of a user is.

Before, the only use case for reputation would be to determine whether someone is trustful or not. But now, there are other use cases for reputation or what they call ratings. You would be given some talk token if you give reputation and all of your posts that have reputation would be paid.

The reputation points determine in a way the usefulness of what is published in this forum. A good publication that provides useful content in the forum will have a higher number of positive evaluations than a post that is not very useful or on a slightly current topic. Having a good reputation means that in the future you have a good number of followers and that makes you popular in the forum.
