It is possible ofcourse, but it is not assured. 
The value of a coin depends on people who are selling in bids. The lowest value will be it's curent price. 
Take note that a coin's value will depend on it's demabd and supply from the market.
It is possible to surpass a hundred dollar but it is also possible that it can't.
Be careful do not be so trusty to coins that doesn't have any good foundation, vision and misions

Easily. Just make a coin with a small supply. For example YFI and if have not manage to do that in time make a clone - for example YEFII. But if you are late even here you can make clone of the clone and so on, Then if your supply is very low, as in the case of YEFI about 30k coins you will not only reach 100$ you can easily reach 1000$
