I don't really think that traders care about fees. Profit is more significant here. Also exchanges have different tiers, like binance have vip status with lower trading fees.

The same thing works for derivatives market, so fees are based on bnb hold+ volume

Crypto-to-Crypto Exchanges
The second type of exchange is called a "crypto-to-crypto exchange". These exchanges don't deal with traditional payment methods like credit cards and banks.

Custodial vs Non-Custodial Exchanges
The is another way to separate one exchange from another and that is how they handle custody and deposits.

In a custodial exchange, users deposit fiat or crypto into their account and use these deposits to make trades. Once they make the trade, the exchange holds onto the coins or dollars until the user makes a withdrawal request.

In a non-custodial exchange, users provide the exchange with a crypto address before making any buys or sells. After the user makes a transaction, he sends fiat or crypto to the exchange, and once the funds reach the exchange, the transaction is completed and the new funds are immedietely transferred to the receiving address provided by the user before the transaction.

I don't think that the fee will have a problem for traders because as long as they can get a big profit from trading, they will not think about the fee because their profit will be bigger than the fee. They don't have to think about how much they will need to pay for the fee, and they will get the money in the end. The problem is we need to make more profit if we don't want to think about the fee because I think the fee will not be too big. And for withdrawal, you can choose the other coins which have a low fee so you don't have to pay a larger amount and you can get the coin in a short time.
