Can alternative coins disappear completely?

I doubt it, it's known that altcoin momentum has weakened but they didn't extinguished. There are some important altcoins benefiting from Bitcoin's success and they may get stronger in the future.

It's highly unlikely. Ethereum in some forme will not going anywhere. De-Fi isn't going anywhere either. Crypto became to big to collapse. It's more likely that bitcoin will become obsolete.
