No doubt digital currency is a modern currency and it is great revolution. 

But i think this is too early to talk about that it will replace physical currency (bank notes). Physical currency is controlled by the government, they make different policies to control the money flow. 

Where digital currency is not in the control of any government. 

May be in future it will use like, we use our bank notes.
