In the first place, cryptocurrencies have in their favor that they are decentralized and are not controlled by any bank, which makes them tax-free so it is a benefit for the users of these electronic currencies and the blockchain technology helps to have a security on these as they allow to obtain a record of all the movements made.

Hey friend, there are so many functionalities that cryptocurrencies offer that it is difficult to say which are the most important, but I will try to tell you the ones that seem most interesting to me personally:

 

1) No blocks: I have received limitations from pages like PayPal and it is horrible to put your money on sites that can block you and do with your money whatever they want, in cryptocurrencies, you are the absolute owner of your funds.

 

2) Staking or Defi: Some cryptocurrencies allow you to generate passive income just by having them saved without you having to do anything.

 

3) Economic: The transactions are very cheap, if we compare it, to what the transactions with Fiat money would cost.

 

4) Speed: In Bitcoin it is 10 minutes and in other cryptocurrencies almost instantaneous, this attribute is extremely good, since in the traditional monetary system some transactions can take even days.

 

5) Decentralization: Currently almost all applications and platforms are monopolized. But that is changing and thanks to cryptocurrencies little by little people are beginning to receive rewards, for things that previously did not give them anything. Example, if you use a BRAVE BROWSER you can earn money just browsing, on the other hand Google Chrome (centralized browser) does not pay you anything. I feel that as a beginner cryptocurrencies and blockchain offer a safe world in terms of the data that is provided on each platform since no phone number or names are shown in which another person could be harmed.

I believe it is safety and ease. If the payment systems were this way, the only thing we would do would be to use a QR scanner and that's all, we would not have to carry cash or anything like that. In addition, by having different assets we are supporting different projects which go beyond a simple payment system. As we can see today, the "blockchain" system begins to be raised before society in general, it can be used from a simple government vote and no modification would be possible.
