Personally, waiting a long time for the confirmations of the transactions I have made is fine. I'm in no rush to get upset about long confirmations. Obviously for those people who wanted instant confirmations because the transaction could be an emergency. If they are using bitcoin, they better pay for priority confirmations.

But it's not always down to the platform we're sending or receiving from. It is true that one can accept higher fees for faster transactions. But if a transaction takes longer than 2 days, you can get a little restless.

every time long confirmations makes me worry and scared. it happened to me almost with LTC transactions.  the longest time was about 12 hours !

It really is a bit tedious having to wait a long time for a transaction to be confirmed, especially if it is on the bitcoin network, that is why I prefer to make transactions in ltc that do not take more than 5 minutes.

That's very annoying when the confirmation take so long.Some exchanger reqire 8-10 confirmation.I really don't think that's necessary.If i transact money why do i need more confirmation.I already confirmed while transacting money.In this case i really admire yobit.They don't require so many confirmations.Just 1 or 2.

I agree on your worries. Some transactions , especially when the provided gas fees by the exchange is very low can take even hours. It is mostly the result of the ever increasing gas fees in Ethereum network by miners. Many claim that these issues will be solved to a certain degree with the upcoming Ethereum 2.0 update.  The exchanges would provide an option to increase the gas fees to the users. If the transaction have more emergency, the users can select this option for sending their funds faster.

 

This is the only exchange-side solution I can think of at the moment.  What are your opinions on this matter?

It is tremendouly disgusting to wait a long time for the confirmation of a transaction (such as Eth/erc-20 tx) especially when you are a daily trader, this can make miss very important opportunities

When the network is congested, the truth is quite stressful hehe.

But with time you get used to it. If you are sure that you have entered the destination address correctly, you do not have to worry, forget it and wait.

I often do transactions at night and go to bed without worrying, at dawn the transaction is already complete, but when I was a newbie I was quite worried that they would not be credited quickly.

it's unnerving to see your transaction awaiting confirmation. could improve and speed up the process. so many requests together flood the blockchain. you always think you did something wrong.
