This topic is dedicated to mining Cortex coin.

At the moment it can be mined with the PoW mining algorithm : CuckooCycle. It is supported by gminer: https://github.com/develsoftware/GMinerRelease/releases

The requirements are: nVidia GPUs with 8+ GB of VRAM.

The list of mining pools can be found at: https://miningpoolstats.stream/cortex

The official site is at: https://www.cortexlabs.ai/

The official wallet uses iOS, Android or Google Chrome.

You can trade it on Binance.

So far the activity of development and discussions are very low.

How big is the profit calculation

Using a P104-100 with a hashrate 1.71G reported by gminer, but 0.037 H reported by pool (I don't know how that is counted) I have received roughly 7 coins for 24 hours. The coin price now is fluctuating around $0.07.

especially GPU mining at this time?

Only nVidias with 8GB+ are supported at the moment.

The processor requirements are not great It is very clear that mining this currency is much easier than mining the famous currencies, but can this currency be traded after mining on the Yobit platform or does it only need its own platform

Glad to acknowledge that the coin is not really dead with its price 1000-1600 sats on Binance. I could trade it if I was not so lazy about this.

Cannot comment on the mining profitability though.

Looking good. I can find this coin's info on both CoinGecko and Coinmarketcap. Thanks for your info I might give a try because coin is already being traded on major exchange sites including Binance, Huobi, OKEx, and CoinEx etc.

In mining with the computer, electricity consumption and the cost of internet must be taken into account, which varies from country to country. Currently I prefer to rent the miners from Yobit which offers good benefits

Do not post offtopic here!

BTW the coin is dumping now, mining difficulty may decrease making it more profitable.

Try Ethereum if you do not want too much hassle with choosing a moment when to sell this another shitcoin.
