Ripple is set to cash out a third of its stake in MoneyGram

Ripple is very problematic coin, many people decided to invest in it and they got stuck with it, the price dropped and then it was unable to rise up again and I have heard that there are law cases against it and unless there is a settlement about its issue the price will stay low for a very long time, which is a horrible news to the investors who buy a whole great amount of it.

This might be advantageous for ripple but as their share is quite large once withdrawn it would shake the money gram company.

Perhaps it is a case similar to that of gamestop where many bought or lent shares with the purpose of selling and when the price rises to sell said shares, although it is also merely for profit, as you mentioned.
