Design and website development contests for Free TON developers.

We will implement the competition in 2 stages:

1. 1st stage is the website concept development for developers. Researching developers needs, studying the best practices, analysis, terms of reference, layouts (3-4 weeks + 1 week for evaluating work)

2. 2nd stage is implementing the website and support (2 months + 2 weeks of work evaluation)

We kindly ask you to update all your applications, scripts etc. to use the list of Free TON or Devnet endpoints, present in this document 👉 https://docs.ton.dev/86757ecb2/p/85c869-networks

 

Please, make sure you specify all the endpoints in your application, not a single one. This is needed because periodically some of the endpoints will be closed for maintenance without any announcements. SDK provides balancing between endpoints so the applications that use SDK, given they specify the list of endpoints, will not be affected by maintenance of particular endpoints. 

 

🖐Support of main.ton.dev and net.ton.dev endpoints will be stopped by July 12 2021.

Full decentralization is one of the most important principles of the crypto world

Using a system without a central administrator or equivalent is what attracts thousands of people to the crypto industry. The impossibility of public or private interference with autonomous protocols guarantees freedom of speech, freedom to transfer value and software.

The first such system is the Bitcoin network, launched on January 3, 2009 by Satoshi Nakamoto. Bitcoin has inspired many developers around the world to experiment and create their own implementations. Among them are Vitalik Buterin and Ethereum, Charles Hoskinson and Cardano, Justin Sun and Tron, the Durov brothers and the Telegram Open Network.

Pavel had to close TON in May 2020 due to problems with regulators. But the caring community of developers, validators and crypto enthusiasts did not stand aside and at the same time launches Free TON. An ambitious project to build a decentralized network on a planetary scale for the benefit of millions of people.

Free TON NFT Platforms: NFT Marketplace Contest Review

In the Free TON community, a contest was held to create platforms for working with NFT. We offer you a review of the winners’ works. Requirements For Contest Works And The Prize Fund The goal of the NFT marketplace contest is to create an ecosystem in the Free TON community for full-fledged work with NFT.

Requirements for marketplaces:

-creation of NFTs based on TIP-3 standard

-the ability to sell NFTs at a fixed price and via auction

-the marketplace receives a fee for NFT sales

-automatic transfer of NFT to the wallet address of the user who sent the required amount for NFT

-option to cancel sale (before execution)

-connecting ExtraTON Wallet as a browser extension, other wallets, or solutions from the Free TON wallet as a Chrome extension contest.

-soft criteria — DeBot full or partial support.

 

Participants could use a smart contract from the Decentralized Name Service (DeNS) contest to implement the auction mechanism.

True that but still not a viable solutions to expect names, and other social media accounts details to publish on Blockchain forever. Everyone will not be innocent and some malicious members might misuse our details like I have been facing now-- excessive spam emails, unwanted message requests on facebook and many more. I think jurors can personlly ask for the sensitive details for the verifications. You know, in the crypto world, we wish to remain anonymous :) !
