Yes, as you read he was one of the first Bitcoin developers working side by side to Satoshi and Gavin Andresen.

 

Does this change your idea about the person now? Or do you think that nobody ever used Bitcoin to buy things online when price was just a few dollars? What about those that bought drugs and smoked pot that would be worth millions of dollars if they just held the Bitcoin instead of passing them to Silk Road?

Did anyone from that day knew that Bitcoin would reach so much as today? Nobody knew and nobody was sure about it. Not even the first Bitcoin developers.

If I paid 10,000 btc for 2 pizzas, I guess I couldn't sleep 10,000 days. Now, the value of bitcoin has increased so much that I wouldn't want to be in that person's place. But I'm sure I wouldn't pay for pizza if I had 10,000 btc.

The first every payment made with Bitcoin when Bitcoin was not even traded or had a price. It was mined at that time and it was not known what is it going to be. This does not mean that those taht used Bitcoin then were wrong. If nobody used and bought things with Bitcoin then it would have been nothing, and right now it is going like that, as it is not used a lot as we believed. It is used only as some kind of asset that you buy and sell higher, wait for dip buy again and always try to sell higher. I do not see how this is a use case by the way. But what you said is the truth, this was the beginning.

Who knew then, the bitcoin would have such a high value, for sure if I were that person I would be happy that day to buy 2 delicious pizzas with 10,000 fake coins, but now I will cry for every satoshi of those 10,000 bitcoins.🤣🤣
