Well i have never used Coinomi but as you stated i believe it's something worth of a try for myself as it should be safe considering an android wallet so far.

I can only agree more to your comment coinomi is a noncustodial wallet which makes all your points valid. One of the reasons I also like coinomi is the security, it is very safe. But one thing about the wallet is that it is no more open source, I prefer open source wallet but the wallet is still though secure and safe to use.
