From My experience, daily trading is so risky and it is not profitable, you must have a lot of free time and monitor the movement of currencies and the market throughout the day. Long trading is best for everyone. Overall, It depends on your technique and strategies in trading. If day trading is more profitable for you, choose that but always feed your self in different ways of trading.
