The difference between private key and a public key

Recommended Posts

Appreciate you for this clarification, but I believe that if you lose and somebody steals them, you will also be phished; they are now the secret to your wallet, as well as the key to recovering your wallet if you lose your password or anything else.

I thank you, dear friend, for this comprehensive explanation of this topic. I presented it in a very beautiful form. Yes, my friend, this is correct. We must preserve our private key in order not to steal our wallets. The private keys are the ones that provide us with safety, and the public keys are just addresses for the wallet only. Thank you.

Hi there greetings If you are using Bitcoin I think you should know about those keys because private key and public key are come with the Bitcoin if you buy or sell Bitcoin in any one private key is personal for you and public key will be public for if you sell Bitcoin you also provide your private key into the other person that you are selling

Thanks for the info my friend
We have to be very careful about the private key and, if possible, it should not be saved on an electronic device to avoid it being stolen by hackers and fraudsters. We must save it on a piece of paper. This is a very safe idea and it should never be shared with anyone.

It is true that every wallet have two keys in which one is private key and the second is public key. The private key is the key provided to the user by wallet to secure their money. By this code, they can be accessed to the wallet again if the device will be lost. And the public key is the key having the address of payment that can be share with the public. It is used to send or receive the payment.

Hello everyone, As for the public key, it is an identification address in order to distinguish your wallet from someone else's wallet (like the wallet address).
As for the private key, it is your password to enter your wallet, so avoid giving it to anyone because he will be able to enter your wallet and steal money from it.
Avoid the fraudsters who trick you into obtaining your public key.

Thank you for the explanation between public keys and private keys. Both of them are very important. Do not share your private keys to anyone but you can share your public keys with people so that you can receive income.

Thank you for this useful article

There are many people who do not know the difference between the public and private key

The general key is a code shared with others to send money to your wallet

Your key is very necessary in your portfolio.

This topic offers good benefits, especially for novice members, and that will enable them to send their coins, but the security issue is taken into consideration.

Of course, my friend, we must make our key to the account, whether or not, to protect ourselves from hacking and hacking because when it is a year that will allow everyone to penetrate you and steal your account, knowledge and money that you have worked hard to earn with your hard work and your fatigue Be alert to that matter and thank you

Much thanks to you for sharing about this data. It's truly useful. I was somewhat confounded about the private key and a public key however from your post, I think about it appropriately.

Thank you for this wonderful content. Indeed, we must distinguish well between private and public keys, because we can lose money in our wallets if we misunderstand the meaning, so you must bear in mind that the private key is the key to the safe and no one should know about it. The public key is The place indicating the treasury.

Yes, the private key is more important and more likely to be stolen because through it you can enter and steal all your money from your wallet, save it in a good place and do not give it to anyone because it is information that must be kept well..

I think these both are the password types and identification and we may share the detail of 1 but can not share another. I mean the public key are tge overlook detail and can be share but private key can not be share with anyone so that we can protect ourselves from the scrammers

My understanding about both the public key and the private key is limited because i usually use coin base wallet and they only provide the public key. public key is used to get payments from anyone. and the private key is used to secure and modify your wallet settings.

Both are important to the wallet, the public key is the address of the wallet that you set to receive funds into your account, your private keys are what you use to access your wallet, and they must be kept in a safe place at all times.

Yes, the private key is the most important and we must keep it in good ways so that we do not get stolen and lose our money, so for me I save it on a piece of paper and put it in a special place for me so that I will not forget it.
