Clearly cryto-currency wins. Physical money is a thing of the past. In my country everyone I know who discovers BTC and this world, they want to transfer their money to BTC and invest it. They take their savings out of the bank and they marvel at being in control of their money, keeping control of their savings day after day. In the normal bank you put all your savings and they take them and they do not give you any return, it is laughable. The main difference is the de-centralization of the currency and that governments cannot move your money at their convenience, which makes crypto currency clearly an escape route to financial freedom.

I am not sure about that 80% replacement but i can give my personal opinion between crypto and physical money. We can transfer our crypto easily and instantly to anyone. also it is safe from being stole. its pumpings also gives us profit. i think crypto is the best.
