This is one of the questions I get asked most often, and it’s easy to see why. Unlike cash or transitional investments you are responsible for storing your own crypto safely.

How does storing cryptos work?

  • Cryptos are stored in a digital wallet.
  • This wallet has a private and a public key.
  • The private key allows you to transfer funds out of it. The public key allows you to transfer funds into it.
  • If you lose your public key, you can still access it with your private key.
  • If you lose your private key, you lose assess to your wallet’s funds.
  • If someone discovers your private key, they gain access to your funds.

It’s as simple as that.

So, as you can see, it’s extremely important that you keep your private key, well, private.

Its matter of being careful with your passwords, and it will save you, being careless can lead people to serious consequences, like you have mentioned losing "bitcoins" but it is impossible, I guess, if you have your private or public key and no one knows it then my dear your bitcoins are safe, and if you are still worried then I will suggest you hardware wallets, but the most important thing is never use weak or moderate passwords use strong passwords which you think are impossible to crack and those are always the long ones with alphabets of both upper and lower case and numbers too soo be careful while chosing your wallet password and keep it secret.

If we keep bitcoins in wallet, then there is less chance of getting stolen. But don't give the wallet address anywhere, it should be kept highly confidential.

Keeping our private key save is our major priority in the world of crypto because that is where we store our currency, however exposing our login details to someone else is not appropriate, so let all becareful and keep our login details safe.

Yes anything can be stolen if its online the thing you can do is to make a secure storage like use reliable waller or strong security wallet. Wallets which are good for long storage are usually the ones with good security. Most of the time people got scammed because hacking some wallet is not a easy task. Scamming someone is easy.

Thank you very much for this very relevant information this is a very important issue that we all must face today there are many hackers on the network and we can be victims of them if we do not have adequate security to avoid it, it is very easy today to access and have control of a pc so it is best not to save our passwords anywhere on our pc and / or phone.

It is the real beauty of the crypto currency that it doesn't have any physical existence. This is a virtual type of trading. Your bitcoin is actually your virtual wealth that can't be stolen until you convert it to your local currency like USD etc. It is a safe and secure way of trading. This is the reason why world is tending towards it so fastly. People think that traditional physical currency will extinct one day and would be replaced by crypto currency.

This is very difficult and actually impossible.

It is never going to be possible for any one to steak or get access to your bitcoins except that you're the one who make it insecure and disclose your private personal details with anyone.

An thus, the possibility of stealing your bitcoin is high.

That's truly a good knowledge. There are two keys for the digital wallet in which crypto currency is stored: Private key and public key.

If the public key is lost, we can still access the wallet through private key. But if the private key is lost, it is lost forever.

Even if crypto currency is a part of almost a safer and rigid economic system, we can't admit that crypto currency is completely safe, since it is prone to hacking, technical glitches and human errors to a very small extent.

Bitcoin is a result of the Blockchain innovation, and meddling with a square on the Blockchain is practically difficult to do. The principal way a Blockchain makes sure about itself is by a cycle called hashing, treating with a square on the Blockchain makes the hash change envision changing 1,000,000 hashes for each seconds???

That is almost difficult to do
