there will never be an alt season as long as btc has not broken the ATH and btc dominance has not yet been below 50%.
all traders are still playing scalping while waiting for market certainty.

Altcoins are rising now. Ether price rised to 430 usd in this August, Doge pumped in July and its price becomed 57  satoshy. Litecoin price is lowly rising too. So it means that Altcoins time is coiming up.

Alt coins going up is obvious but staying up less say 1 mouth I doubt heavily because no crypto currencies can on top without falling.

I agree with you that the era of altcoins has come. Bitcoin no longer has that weight due to high commissions and slow transactions. Modern blockchains such as EOS win on many parameters.

Altcoins will just follow Bitcoin but some of them can multiply x100, so imagine if you can catch one of them, like recently some Defi coins have performed amazingly ie LINK, VET, DAI, MKR etc.

I believe that it is not all one, each cryptocurrency has its fundamental chart so if you see that a currency is at its lows or if it is already in a lateral trend after a low season then if it is time to buy, it is analysis and patience.

Bitcoin continues to suppress other altcoins, and BTC's dominance continues to grow. But I still believe that altcoins will make a comeback in the future. But I cannot know when this will happen. Until then, I think it would be less risky and more logical to choose BTC as a safe haven until that happens.
