Awesome topic! I do think that the reason why some prefer to do short-term trading is because the money comes in faster. Even though the profit is smaller compared to long-term ones. Some people have the attitude of feeling settled in faster income rather than investing for a long time. But you do have a point, investing might take some while but it will surely give you much better benefits and a much higher profit.
