How to avoid added to scam groups public/privately on telegram

A short but very precise article .. I handle Telegram and did not know that this option was available.

 

I think this is a very eloquent advantage, because there was the possibility that strangers would add us without our consent to groups that were not even of interest.

Configuration of your profile you can put the option only friends can add you to groups, so you avoid so much spam. just keep close contacts i bet telegram is a pretty big platform

Up to now, I have dealt with this scams just by blocking anyone that sends me a private message and reporting to Telegram all those spam groups that I got added in, but this advice is indeed way better as it prevents this situations to happen at all.
