Traditional banks in the crypto economy of future

For me, cryptocurrencies are not any threats to banks, only that cryptography is very valuable and many people prefer to invest their money to keep them, we just have to wait between a few times to see what happens.

But Facebook have not launched their coins yet, fake promises! Governments wants to turn the crypto world upside down by creating their own centralized coins ans stable coins. These coins would surely change the fate of cryptocurrencies for the worse.

@selfmade @dio9sI have no expectation on CBDC, because at the moment China's CBDC does not work on blockchain, it is just digital money like money in AliPay, SamsungPay applications... If governments continue to issue such centralized CBDCs , it will be difficult for traditional banks to join the crypto ecosystem.
Conversely, if CBDC is a type of crypto such as stable coin USDT, USDC, DAI..., they will allow traditional banks to become a bridge between users and the crypto ecosystem.

That is their plan they do not want to join the crypto world they want to mess it up with their centralized coins and exchanges.

@selfmadeUp to now, I believe that the CBDC is just a way for governments to deal with the crypto wave, it is just something to deceive people while preserving the power of government. It has absolutely no crypto value, it makes the crypto community angry.
Hope the CBDCs of Japan or the EU will change our view of CBDCs.

Yes brother, there is no good to crypto coming  from CBDCs it is like a war against cryptocurrencies, and It seems like they come strong.

@mzk7736 I think cryptocurrency is a threat to the bank.  Because crypto is able to give us much more profit than the rate at which the bank gives us profit . So if crypto is legal in the future, many will turn away from the bank.

@Sumon21 You pointed out the biggest problem traditional banks will face in the future when the popularity of crypto threatens their profits and survival. Perhaps they will have to accept crypto, or ask for protection of the government.

There's a lot of people who are now using cryptocurrency even though the richest person in this world are using it right now, and also to have a good and fast transactions digitally. If the hype of cryptocurrency in many people are being continued, there's a possibility that banks can handle cryptocurrency.

@MrSpasyboMany of my acquaintances have  bought bitcoin without depositing the money they used to keep in the bank.  There are many such people.  But bitcoin is not legal in my country.  And if it is legalized, then the bank must accept crypto.  Otherwise the bank will be threatened.

Crypto has become a big wave, but is still hindered by a regulatory barrier. The future of traditional banks also depends heavily on this. If allowed by law, traditional banks will support crypto services & especially CBDCs. Otherwise, traditional banks will lose many customers when they switch to DeFi.
