            At the end of 2017 and mainly during 2018 the cryptocurrency market suffered a slight fall and this was largely due to the mistrust that some scams caused towards investors with the use of some ICOs (Initial Coin Offering), it is for That is why IEOs (Initial Exchange Offering) began to gain popularity as a more transparent means of raising capital for project financing, which generated greater confidence in investors.

          An IEO (Initial Exchange Offering) is an Initial Exchange Offering that seeks to raise funds to finance certain projects, it has its base of operation in cryptographic platforms, that is, it is the cryptographic exchange platforms that are in charge of the administration of the entire fundraising process.

It is like ICO. The main difference is that IEO is managed by market on behalf of the startup, that try to collect money by their recently released tokens.

IEOs is initial exchange offering in cryptocurrency that is gaining popularity these days. It is good platform for fund raising for projects and builders and investers. After 2017 and especially during 2018 due to scammers in IEOs  peoples start moving to IEOs.

Initial exchange offering (IEO) is a variant on initial coin offerings, operated directly by cryptocurrency exchanges. A notable example was when the Bitfinex exchange issued an IEO apparently to shore up its reserve for Tether tokens.
